There is no profit if you can access anything in the physical, but you can’t tell what is happening in your spiritual environment.
Job 32:6-9 NKJV
So Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, answered and said: “I am young in years, and you are very old; Therefore I was afraid, And dared not declare my opinion to you. I said, ‘Age should speak, And multitude of years should teach wisdom.’ But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. Great men are not always wise, Nor do the aged always understand justice.
When Job lost it all, from our human perspective, we would start looking for human solutions like financial advisors, but Job was sensitive in the Spirit, and he was able to know this particular one is spiritual! And so he never went for human solutions.
Awareness is vital since it reminds you each time of who you are, where you are, and what is happening. And helps you while acknowledging limitations, to always rely on God’s strength rather than your own. Elihu says, there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding! Elihu was aware of that fact; he had a lot of wisdom regarding Job’s circumstances.
Awareness is triggered by assessment, so let’s assess ourselves every time so that we may be aware of who we are in Christ!
