About Us

At Worship Gatherings Tanzania (WGT), worship and prayer are at the center of everything we do. Our daily focus is to cultivate an atmosphere where people can encounter God through sincere worship, united prayer, and devotion. Every day, we dedicate time to seek God together through worship, intercession, and reflection on His word. These moments are not only personal acts of faith but also a collective expression of our commitment to spiritual renewal in Tanzania.

Through worship and prayer, we aim to: encourage believers to grow deeper in their relationship with God; unite people from different backgrounds in a spirit of worship; intercede for communities, churches, and the nation of Tanzania; and create a space where hearts are transformed and faith is strengthened.

We meet every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday through Google Meet here. Per the Holy Spirit’s instructions, we also meet in person for live worship sessions.  

Our first live session was in 2024, themed ‘Garden Prayer’. We had an amazing time in his presence, and that birthed the spirit of seeking God more and more through our shared devotion and fellowship. We have successfully had 11 seasons of live worship experiences, and what can we say, all glory and honor is to God our father, may he forever be praised!
